Dermatology deals with the treatment of various skin conditions, including hair and nail disorders. At Dr Steve van Heerden’s dermatology practice in Pretoria, we treat a wide variety of diseases and disorders associated with the skin, nails and hair that can affect your health, self-esteem and overall well being.

Our services include:

• General Dermatology Services
  Dr Steve van Heerden's general dermatology services include the treatment of skin conditions such as moles, acne and skin cancer. Botox and facial fillers are also offered under general dermatology services, along with other aesthetic treatments.


• Mole Mapping
  This service records and maps moles on your body to track their behaviour, growth and colour over time. Mole mapping can help detect melanomas, or cancerous moles, at an early stage.


• Laser Treatments
  At Dr van Heerden’s practise, we offer a variety of laser treatments for skin conditions and disorders, including the pulsed dye laser or vascular laser, the Nd YAG laser, the Fraxel or Palomar laser and the CO2 Fx active laser.
